Janet Balla is not only one of the kindest souls I've ever met, but she's the hardest working woman I know! I've sent many people to her over the years when they just couldn't find the right hairstylist and they've always come back raving! She also did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I have to say I've never felt more beautiful in my life. I even whispered to my husband at the alter, "Drink this up, because I'm never gonna look this good again!!" Also, a friend of mine was getting married and hated her makeup artist, so of course I suggested Janet. She went to her for a test run, and called me up afterward to thank me a thousand times! Janet is the most talented hair & makeup stylist that I have ever met. I have recommended her to several friends, and each one was more than pleased. When I first sat in Janet's chair I was not sure exactly what I wanted done, so I gave her carte blanche to experiment. I usually do not like the way an “updo” makes me look in pictures, but Janet magically made it work! The “updo” she created was so different than any other I had before. It actually worked with the shape of my face to highlight certain features and hide others that I was self-conscious about. Janet created 3 different looks for me, each one more beautiful than the next, but what impressed me even more than her amazing skill was her caring personality and all of the little “extras” that I didn’t expect.
